Lib Dems ignore cars

The Liberal Democrats failed to outline their plans for the road network and car industry, as they avoided the topic at their annual conference in Bournemouth.
Lib Dem transport spokesman Norman Baker instead focussed on the rail network, calling for the Government to scrap its current rail franchise system.
