Budget 2013: Fuel and van benefit charges increase in line with RPI

The fuel benefit charge multiplier for both cars and light commercial vehicles will increase only in line with the Retail Price Index on 6 April 2014, while the van benefit charge is frozen at £3000 for 2013/14 and will also increase only by RPI from the 2014/15 tax year.
