Summer Budget: BIK rises and fuel duty freeze confirmed

The Budget statement confirmed both the company car benefit in kid rises and the freeze on fuel duty announced in the March Budget.
"As announced at March Budget 2015, the appropriate percentage of list price subject to tax will increase by 3 percentage points for cars emitting more than 75 grams of carbon dioxide per kilometre, to a maximum of
37%, in 2019-20," said chancellor George Osborne. "There will be a 3 percentage point differential between the 0-50 and 51-75g/km bands and between the 51-75 and 76-94g/km bands."
Fuel duty will remain frozen until at least January 2016, with the chancellor confirming that there won't be any changes this year, though that leaves room for an announcement in the autumn statement later this year.
