Facelifted Renault Captur priced from £15,335

Date: 02 May 2017   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Renault has confirmed its facelifted Captur crossover will cost from £15,355 when it arrives in July.

Four engines power the range - 89hp and 120hp 1.2-litre petrols and 90hp and 120hp 1.5-litre diesels - with the entry-level model being powered by the lower-powered petrol unit.

The most frugal engine in the range is the 90hp diesel unit, which emits 95g/km of CO2 and returns 78.5mpg, placing it in the 21% BIK bracket for 2017/18, with this unit costing from £17,315.

Five trim levels are offered, in line with other Renault models: Expression+, Dynamique Nav, Dynamique S Nav, Signature X Nav (previously Signature Nav) and Signature S Nav.

Standard kit includes LED daytime running lights, hands-free entry/exit, air-conditioning, DAB radio and 16-inch alloy wheels.

Dynamique Nav, meanwhile, adds a seven-inch touchscreen which houses the firm's infotainment system and sat-nav, Bluetooth and larger 17-inch alloy wheels.

The middle trim level adds a central armrest, a leather steering wheel, rear parking sensors, front fog lamps and grey skid plates.

Signature X Nav is equipped with different 17-inch alloy wheels and front parking sensors on top of the equipment levels offered on lower trims.

Top-of-the-range Signature S Nav models, meanwhile, are equipped with part-leather seats, a blind-spot warning system and six-speaker Bose audio unit, while the exterior adds chrome detailing to the grille.
