Citroen DS3 Cabriolet: Test Drive Review

Despite its lack of practicality, Citroen feels a decent percentage of registrations for the new DS3 Cabrio will go into the corporate sector, with user-choosers drawn to the combination of good looks and open-air potential.
The canvas top slides back on rails like a huge extended sunroof, either the length of the roof or dropping fully down, but the latter completely blocks rear visibility. The plus side is that the roof moves at up to 70mph.
While the 245-litre boot is 60 larger than the Mini Convertible, the way the roof mechanism works means it's accessed via a letter box style flap, which makes the loading and retrieval of larger items a little tricky.
But the DS3 Cabrio is a fun alternative to the Mini convertible and is both cheaper and has a lower cost per mile. However, the standard hatchback is cheaper still and more practical than the Cabrio, and just as appealing.
