The start point for the best source of fleet information |
"These figures represent increased growth and will penetrate our order bank over the next three- to four-year lifecycle as cars are replaced," commented Green.
These figures were the result of GE's strong listening agenda, said Green, reflected in its ability to hear customer comments and act upon them.
"Managing a fleet happens against a continually changing background. Whether those changes are coming from legislation, human resources, taxation, technology or simply changing preferences, it's important we react to those changes to ensure our service remains relevant to our customers. I think it's one of the reasons why we retain customers."
The growth outlined by Green excluded the recent acquisition of Custom Fleet's 18,000 vehicle book.
"Custom Fleet was attractive to us because they have a very strong broker network, an area in which we've not operated traditionally. Additionally, they also had some mid-market fleets that would complement our portfolio," said Green. He confirmed that the Custom Fleet brand would remain, and that Tony Haslam, md at the time of the takeover, would continue to manage the business.
