NCAP commences pick-up crash testing

Mercedes C-class's NCAP test
Euro NCAP is adding pick-ups to its testing procedures, giving fleet managers the opportunity to choose vehicles on the basis of their safety rating for the first time.
Until now, only cars have undergone the rigorous testing process. Front and side impact, and the protection afforded to pedestrians and children are assessed.
The first results will be published on 26th February and will be available on BusinessCar.co.uk.
