Auto Windscreens goes mobile

Auto Windscreens has launched a smartphone enabled website to allow business users access to glass replacement and repair booking from their mobiles.
The new site also allows users to find their nearest fitting centre.
An Auto Windscreens spokesman said: "Found at www.autowindscreens.co.uk, the site automatically detects whether the visitor is using a smartphone and adapts the site content accordingly. Additionally, users accessing the website via a mobile phone will benefit from a location finder, which offers them directions to the nearest fitting centre by automatically detecting their location using their phone."
Nigel Davies, sales and marketing director, added: "We've seen a dramatic increase in mobile traffic to our website since its re-launch last year making this the perfect time for us to launch a made-for-mobile proposition."
