Pendragon goes 24-hour

Pendragon's contract hire section is now offering 24 hour customer support and service booking.

The dealer-group and leasing giant has appointed All Fleet Services (AFS) to deal with its out-of-hours enquiries.

Customers will get the same treatment from AFS as they would from Pendragon, with a dedicated team in the call centre at AFS's base in Gloucestershire, where they will use the same software as Pendragon's own workforce.

AFS will also deal with the issuing of the VE103 documents - the document drivers of leased or rented vehicles must carry when driving in Europe.

AFS claims 93 percent of documents will be dispatched on the day they are requested, with 100 percent being sent out within 24 hours.

The contract has been agreed between the two companies for three years, and will be reviewed at the end of this period.
