Eye tests for all fleet drivers are one of a number of measures that have resulted in a 9% reduction in insurance premiums for Hull-based Kingstown Furniture.

Despite the only legal requirement being a test when drivers pass their test, Specsavers Corporate Eyecare, which was employed by Kingstown to administer the programme, is urging fleets to realise that testing all their drivers is "the responsible thing to do".
