FIRST PICTURES: New Volvo S60

Volvo's new S60, which goes on sale early summer, will debut at Geneva Motor Show in March.

Featuring Volvo's pedestrian detection system with autobrake technology, two diesel and one petrol engines will be available. On offer is T6 AWD, a 3.0 petrol engine and D5 and D3, 2.4 and 2.0 diesels respectively. Petrol engines to be added during the first year of production include a 2.0 T5, and 1.6 T4 and T3. Its diesel 1.6 DRIVe with CO2 emissions below 115g/km and fuel consumption of 65.7mpg will also be introduced.

Prices and specification will be announced nearer the on-sale date.
