Mercedes reveals revised R-class

Date: 08 April 2010

Mercedes has revealed its revised R-class, with UK deliveries beginning in September this year.

The carmaker said the redesigned front end had been inspired by its saloon and SUV models.

There are two 3.0-litre diesel variants in the UK model range, R300 CDI Blue Efficiency 2WD and R350 CDI L 4Matic.

The R300 uses around 7% less fuel than its predecessor, official combined figures are 37.2mpg and CO2 is between 199-206g/km.

The more powerful R350 consumes 33.2mpg and produces 223g/km of CO2
