VW wins 47-van deal

Commercial dishwasher supplier Winterhalter is converting its service fleet to Volkswagen vans with an order for 47 vehicles, consisting of Volkswagen Caddy Maxi, Transporter and Crafter vans.
'We operate a 96% first time fix service for our customers so vehicle reliability was very important in our purchasing decision, and as a German manufacturer we were pleased to find a German van brand that could meet our standards,' said Jason Mackay, operations director at Winterhalter.
The company designs and manufactures commercial dishwashing systems for the catering and hospitality industry, and the vans will be used in its national service operation network.
