Lombard Vehicle Management confirms new MD

Lombard Vehicle Management has confirmed its change in leadership, with Simon Recaldin replacing Stuart Houlston, who had run the company since January 2009.
Houlston is now director of change delivery (interim) at RBS corporate banking, after moving earlier this year in a shift that wasn't publicised at the time, although LVM claims it notified customers and suppliers.
Simon Recaldin, who has "extensive experience of Lombard and LVM, having spent the past 20 years of his career in a number of different senior roles across the business" becomes the new managing director, although LVM was unwilling to disclose his previous experience or roles.
The leasing firm, ranked third in BusinessCar's BC50's 50 top leasing companies, has been in the spotlight for some time amid speculation on the sale of the company, which is persistently linked with a bid from GE Capital.
