Seat Exeo spawns Ecomotive variant

Date: 13 August 2012   |   Author: Jack Carfrae

Seat has revealed a clean Ecomotive version of its upper medium Exeo.

Pitched squarely at business drivers, both the ST estate and the saloon are available with the cleanest 2.0-litre TDI engine, which comes with either 120hp or hp, both of which emit 117g/km and return 62.8mpg.

The higher-powered variant is available with all of the Exeo's existing trim levels and fuel-saving features include a stop/start system, low rolling-resistance tyres, an energy-recovery system and lower suspension to improve aerodynamics.

The entry-level 120hp Exeo Ecomotive S saloon starts at £20,040 and all versions are available to order now. This comes as the firm announces that its Ecomotive-branded models now account for 41% of all sales in the UK.
