Toyota unveils new Rav4

Toyota's fourth-generation Rav4 offers more space, better performance and higher spec across a wider model range starting from a lower price point, according to the firm.

The range, due in March 2013, kicks off at 127g/km with the front-wheel drive-only 124hp 2.0-litre diesel at £22,595 in entry Active trim that includes 17-inch alloys, Bluetooth and rear privacy glass.

The other engine from launch of interest to fleet is the 148hp 2.2 D-4D, coming in four-wheel drive form only at 149g/km for the manual. There's also a 2.0 petrol emitting 167g/km CO2.
