Job changes for key fleet players

A number of senior role changes are afoot in the fleet and business community.

Nigel Fletcher, former deputy MD and operations director at leasing company ALD Automotive has joined auction giant Manheim as group development director, responsible for business planning, product and services strategy, digital development and new business acquisitions.

Bekir Hassan will take over as sales director of Citroen UK on 1 July.

He moves internally within PSA from his existing post as Peugeot sales director in Turkey and will replace current UK sales director Charles Peugeot, who will return to Citroen France.

Nissan's luxury car arm Infiniti has appointed Steve Oliver as its new regional sales director for North Europe, replacing Tony Lewis, who has moved to another role within Nissan.

Oliver joins from automotive marketing agency Aura and has previously spent time at Honda and Peugeot.

Finally, Nationwide Accident Repair Centres has announced an upward drive in its fleet business ambitions with the appointment of Chris Ryder as head of fleet sales.

Ryder joins from tyre firm Goodyear Dunlop and will be responsible for hiring more fleet sales staff and increasing the firm's presence in the corporate sector.
