The start point for the best source of fleet information

Arval reports CO2 emissions fall

Date: 14 March 2014

Vehicle lease giant Arval saw year-on-year fleet emissions fall by 6g/km to 117.2g/km in 2013.

It currently oversees 90,000 vehicles, and in the past eight years has witnessed overall emissions decline by some 23%.

"With vehicle costs and CO2 emissions directly linked, the environmental performance of the fleet is often a high priority for our customers," said Robert Pieczka, Arval's corporate responsibility head.

The company has begun running ride-and-drive events that concentrate on low-emission vehicles, and is trialling alternative-fuelled models so that fleet customers can be kept up to date on their performance.
