Europcar partners with Emirates airline for rental airmiles

Europcar has signed a deal with the Emirates airline, which will see the flight firm's frequent flyers increase their air miles points if they book with the vehicle-hire giant.
Members of Emirates' Skywards programme will be entitled to an additional 600 miles when hiring a standard Europcar vehicle.
Gold and Platinum members can redeem 800 miles, and this is increased to 1000 miles to all grades if a 'premium' car is hired.
The miles can be redeemed for business purposes including hotel accomodation and flights and upgrades, along with tickets to sports events, days out and shopping.
Europcar said that a round trip from London to Dubai in economy class could be had in exchange for 45,000 miles.
