Fiat unveils facelifted Doblo

Date: 12 December 2014   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Fiat has revealed a facelifted version of its Doblo MPV, due on sale in the UK from January 2015 and priced from £13, 480.

The revised version features a restyled front end with new front wings and a new grille, which Fiat said helps the Doblo "appear more like a car."

Customers can choose from three trim levels, three engine/transmission options, two roof heights and a choice of five and seven seat versions. Twin sliding rear doors are standard, and Fiat said there is an option of a fold-flat front passenger seat and a choice of tailgates.

Trim-wise, a new entry-level specification, Pop, has joined the range which adds stop/stop technology, remote central locking, electric front windows and a 60/40 split rear seat as standard, while the MyLife trim option has been replaced by an Easy level and the top-spec Eleganza version has been renamed Longue.

Engine-wise, the 95hp 1.4-litre petrol unit costs from £13,480, the 1.6-litre Multijet 2 105hp model starts from £15, 900, and the 1.6-litre Multijet 2 90hp Dualogic is priced from £16, 700.

The Italian car maker has not announced any CO2 or economy figures, but expect these to be revealed closer to the on-sale date.
