Enterprise promotes Mike Nigro to senior vice president of European operations

Date: 18 May 2015   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Rental company Enterprise has appointed Mike Nigro as its senior vice president of European operations. He previously worked as the company's UK managing director for six years.

Nigro takes over from Jim Burrell, who is retiring from the company. The company said it has a "promote-within culture". Nigro joined the company 31 years ago on its management trainee programme in California before progressing through the ranks in America.

In 2006 he was promoted to general manger of South East England before moving onto to the roles of corporate vice president and then the UK managing director.

"Jim Burrell leaves some very big shoes to fill. Enterprise has grown massively across Europe in recent years and there is scope for further expansion as we look to develop our business," said Nigro. "We want corporate and personal renters, both within Europe and coming in from overseas, to know that we aim to provide them with the very best rental experience."

Enterprise is currently recruiting internally to replace Mike Nigro as head of UK and Ireland operations.
