Jaguar has revealed its all-new F-pace crossover at the Frankfurt motor show. It is available to order now, and is priced from £34,170.

Three engine options will be offered from launch: a 180hp 2.0-litre diesel, a 300hp 3.0-litre diesel and a 380hp 3.0-litre petrol.

Jaguar claims the lowest-powered model dips below the crucial 130g/km CO2 barrier, emitting 129g/km of CO2 and returning 57.7mpg, while the larger and more powerful 3.0-litre diesel unit emits 159g/km of CO2 and returns 47.1mpg.

Jaguar has not confirmed efficiency details for the range-topping 3.0-litre supercharged petrol engine.

Four trim levels are offered - Prestige, R-Sport, Portfolio and S. Standard equipment includes leather seats, a satnav featuring the firm's InControl infotainment system, an autonomous emergency braking system, daytime running lights, a lane departure warning device, parking sensors and a DAB radio.

The R-Sport meanwhile, includes 19-inch wheels, Xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights and gloss black detailing. The R-Sport trim level is priced from £36,670.

The S trim level is only available with the range-topping petrol engine and the most powerful diesel unit. Features of this trim level include: 20-inch wheels, the firm's smart key system, a rear view camera and folding exterior mirrors, while the Portfolio trim level - available with all engine choices - adds a panoramic roof and 380kW sound system.

First deliveries are expected to start early next year.
