Peugeot has been awarded a solus fleet deal with driving school BSM, and instructors will take delivery of around 1000 cars a year.
BSM is owned by Acromas Holdings, which is the holding company for the AA and Saga. Vauxhall was the previous solus fleet supplier, however Fiat supplied its 500 city car in a previous solus fleet deal in 2010.
From June, BSM instructors will be offered one of three versions of the firm's 208 or one of four variants of the larger 308.
The driving school's distinctive orange livery will be applied to each vehicle. Peugeot was selected as the new vehicle supplier after what it called a "comprehensive" tender process, which included consultations with instructors.
"Peugeot has put together a package to supply our instructors with a modern range of cars that have class-leading MPG figures, a high level of specification and more standard features," said Mark Peacock, head of BSM.
"We want to ensure that BSM delivers a first class experience to both its learners and instructors and we believe that our new agreement with Peugeot helps us reach this goal," said Peacock.
