DS, Citroen's upmarket offshoot, has revealed its new 3 compact hatchback ahead of its debut at the Geneva motor show in March.
Seven engines power the new model - three three-cylinder petrol units, two four-cylinder petrols and two four-cylinder diesels.
The cleanest model is the BlueHDi 100 diesel, which emits 87g/km of CO2, warranting a mere 18% in BIK when it goes on sale. All models, meanwhile, emit less than 130g/km of CO2.
The range-topping 3 Performance model, meanwhile, is powered by the firm's 208hp 1.6-litre petrol engine, which emits 125g/km of CO2. It is fitted with a limited-slip dif, helping to make the most of the power, it also features lower suspension and a wider track.
Standard equipment on the new 3 includes LED headlights and Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink, allowing users to connect their smartphones to the car's seven-inch touchscreen media system.
