Fraikin retained as CCS supplier in new three-year deal

Commercial vehicle fleet service provider Fraikin has retained its status as a supplier to the public sector following a three-year framework agreement with the Crown Commercial Service.

The new three-year deal covers leasing commercial vehicles weighing over 3.5-tonnes, including vans. The company can also provide fleet management services - including the management, sourcing and supply of cars and light commercial vehicles up to 3.5t.

The Crown Commercial Service is a public sector organisation, which acts on behalf of the Government to save the taxpayer money through procurement efficiencies.

Its procurement arrangements can be used by public sector organisations, including those in local Government, health, education, not-for-profit and devolved administration areas, as well as by central Government.

Government departments are required to use vehicles through the agreement, but other public sector organisations can choose whether to use the agreement or form different arrangements.

We are extremely proud to have retained our preferred supplier status under the new CCS framework agreement. Fraikin has a proven track record for helping public sector organisations manage their fleets more efficiently, ensuring compliance and saving the taxpayer money," said  Colin Melvin, sales director at Fraikin.

"This renewal will allow us to expand our portfolio of Government and public sector contracts," he added.
