BP Fuel Card customers will now be able to refuel at Esso filling stations following an agreement between the two companies.

There are now 630 Esso sites which accept the fuel card, with further locations - such as Esso forecourts with a Tesco shop - due to come onboard soon.

Other companies accepting the card include Texaco and Gulf.

This means that from today, motorists using the card will be able to top up with fuel at more than 3,000 forecourts across the UK, 1,280 of which are operated by BP.

"At BP, we are committed to expanding our offer to support our fleet customer needs. This collaboration with the Esso network of sites enables us build on our offer to fleet customers, giving drivers even more choice and availability when travelling throughout the UK," said Andy Allen, UK fuel card manager at BP Fuel Cards.
