Manheim expands Hitachi remarketing deal

Date: 11 April 2017   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Leasing company Hitachi Vehicle Solutions has renewed its remarketing deal with Manheim for three years.

As part of the deal, 7,500 vehicles will be offered through physical and online auction channels a year.

In addition to the extended remarketing arrangement, Manheim will supply its Inspect and Collect solution to the leasing company from June, delivering an inspection, condition appraisal and vehicle collection service for customers, which can be completed on the side of the road if necessary.

"We are pleased to be strengthening our relationship with Manheim through the implementation of its Inspect and Collect solution and look forward to the continued success of this important partnership," said Roger Holder, strategic remarketing manager at Hitachi Vehicle Solutions.

Tim Hudson, managing director of inventory solutions at Cox Automotive UK - Manheim's parent company - added:  "We are incredibly proud to have been re-awarded with the prestigious remarketing contract for Hitachi Capital, and also to be broadening our relationship through the new provision of our Inspect and Collect solution. Both of these wins are testament to our delivery of exceptional performance to our clients, as well as the highest level of customer service."
