Range-topping Skoda Kodiaq Laurin & Klement introduced

Date: 27 July 2018   |   Author: Sean Keywood

A new top-level trim option for Skoda's Kodiaq SUV has gone on sale.

The Kodiaq Laurin & Klement - named after the company's founders - is visually distinct from other models in the range thanks to a chrome grille, 19in alloy wheels finished in anthracite, restyled front and rear bumpers, body-coloured under-door panels and L&K signature logos on the front wings.

Inside, there's a standard panoramic sunroof, leather-trimmed L&K-branded seats, black decorative trims, ambient lighting and aluminium-trimmed pedals.

Standard technology includes Skoda's Columbus infotainment system, a 360 degree camera system, curtain airbags and a heated windscreen.

Engine options are a 2.0-litre, 150hp petrol and a 2.0-litre diesel with either 150hp or 190hp.

These all come with four-wheel drive and a seven-speed automatic gearbox as standard, though a six-speed manual is also available with the 150hp diesel.

Emissions figures are yet to be confirmed.

Prices for the Kodiaq Laurin & Klement start at £35,945 for the 150hp manual, rising to £38,105 for the 190hp diesel model.

Order books are open now, with the first deliveries expected later this year.
