Lower entry point for long-range Nissan Leaf

Nissan is making its Leaf EV e+ available with the N-TEC equipment grade, lowering the entry price for the longer-range 62kWh model.
The Nissan leaf has either a 40kWh battery, or a 60kWh one for a longer, 239-mile range. Previously, the longer-range model, called e+, was only available with the top equipment grade, Tekna, at £35,895.
The Leaf e+ can now also be ordered as an N-TEC for £32,795 (OTR, including the £3,500 grant). Standard equipment includes front and rear parking sensors, heated seats and steering wheel, adaptive cruise control with lane keeping and stop & go, and LED lights.
Those interested in adding the long-range Leaf to their fleet might have to be quick, as the N-TEC equipment grade is limited to 1,000 examples.
