Date: 25 March 2020   |   Author: Illya Verpraet

The Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP) will continue to offer its Introductory and Intermediate certificate courses online.

The AFP was recently formed by the merger of the ICFM and Acfo, and continues to offer ICFM's training courses under the Fleet Academy banner.

Its introductory programme in car fleet management, which is designed for those new to the fleet industry, costs £99 and continues to be available for distance learning, as does the Intermediate Certificate Programme for car and LCV fleet management, which costs £1,500. The advanced level diploma program is exclusively tutor-based and has therefore been postponed until September.

Peter Eldridge , Director , ICFMFleet Academy sales and marketing director Peter Eldridge (pictured) said: "The coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic is having a seemingly unprecedented in at least a generation impact on the world generally and the fleet industry as a whole.

"The fleet industry and employee learning cannot grind to a halt amid all the sector-based challenges faced around, for example, changing legislation, tax regulations, new technologies and clean air zones."
