More engines made available with fleet-focused Skoda Scala SE Technology

Date: 26 November 2020   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Skoda has expanded the range of engines available with its Scala lower-medium car in the SE Technology equipment grade.

When the spec, which Skoda says is aimed specifically at fleets and company car drivers, was introduced earlier this year, it was only with a 1.5-litre, 150hp petrol engine.

Now, the grade is also available with a 1.0-litre petrol engine, producing 95hp or 115hp.

It means the SE Technology now starts at a lower price, with P11D values from £18,625.

The 115hp and 150hp engines are available with optional seven-speed DSG automatic transmission.

Standard equipment includes 16in alloy wheels, chrome window surrounds, LED rear lights with dynamic indicators, a 9.2in touchscreen with sat-nav, traffic sign recognition, and front and rear parking sensors.

Skoda says this equipment is included for a £400 premium over the Scala SE.
