Orders open for new Dacia Jogger Hybrid

Date: 10 January 2023   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Dacia has opened orders for the new hybrid version of its Jogger crossover MPV.

The brand's first ever hybrid, it features a 1.6-litre petrol engine and two electric motors, for a combined output of 140hp.

Dacia says a 1.2kWh battery allows the car to spend up to 80% of its time on urban roads using electric power only.

Official WLTP combined fuel economy and CO2 emissions figures are 56.5mpg and 112g/km respectively.

Compared with the existing Jogger range, the hybrid version gains a 7in digital instrument cluster, displaying information such as remaining battery charge and range.

An eight-year/100,000-mile warranty for the hybrid battery is also included, alongside the car's regular three-year/60,000-mile warranty.

Two equipment grades are available - Expression and Extreme SE. Standard equipment with the Expression grade includes front and rear parking sensors, a reversing camera, a blind spot warning system, keyless entry, heated and electrically adjustable door mirrors, automatic wipers, automatic air conditioning, and an 8in media display with Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity.

Further equipment with the Extreme SE grade includes 16in black alloy wheels, sliding tray tables, heated front seats, and sat-nav.

The Jogger Hybrid is priced at £22,595 with the Expression grade, and £23,395 with Extreme SE. The first deliveries are expected in the second quarter of this year.
