Honda has announced revisions to its Jazz supermini range, including more power from the hybrid powertrain.
The upgrade includes a 14hp increase in power for the main electric drive motor, an 11hp increase for the generator motor, and a 10hp increase for the 1.5-litre petrol engine. Honda says these changes do not impact fuel efficiency or CO2 emissions.
In addition, a new Advance Sport equipment grade has been introduced to the range, including revisions to the car's suspension set-up designed to deliver a more dynamic drive.
Other features of Advance Sport spec include a lattice grille design, gloss black wing mirrors, specific 16in alloy wheels, black synthetic suede and grey synthetic leather seat upholstery, and yellow interior stitching.
Cosmetic changes including new-look front grilles have also been introduced for the existing Elegance, Advance, and Crosstar equipment grades.
Among the other upgrades to the range are an improved ADAS camera, a revision of the active safety systems designed to reduce their interference with everyday driving, and a traffic jam assist function which now features steering support from a standstill.
Another new addition is towing capability, of up to 500kg.
Sales of the upgraded Jazz range are due to start early this year.
