Our Fleet Test Drive: Kia Optima - 19th report

Date: 11 June 2013   |   Author: Jack Carfrae

Model: Kia Optima 1.7 CRDi 2 Tech
P11D: £21,640

I've now been living with the Kia for just long enough for a small irritation to rear its head.

The light switch on the end of the indicator stalk has a habit of moving with the stalk. By that I mean it occasionally switches the headlights on when all I want to do is signal left or right.

The Optima has daytime running lights, so this doesn't create quite as much of a dazzle as you might expect, but it's still enough to cause fellow road users to raise a quizzical eyebrow and wonder why I'm riding around with my headlamps on in the middle of a sunny day.
