Our Fleet Test Drive: Mazda 6 2.2D - 2nd Report

The tyre pressure warning light on our Mazda 6 Tourer probably saved me £200 because even though I couldn't feel a puncture through the steering, it was indicating that I had a slow one.

Because I happened to be nearby, I drove (gently) straight to Kwik-Fit to see if they could detect a problem.

The fast-fit firm confirmed what the warning light was telling me and because the side-wall of the tyre was still fine and the puncture was in the centre of the tread, its staff were able to fix my slow puncture, rather than replace the tyre.

Hence a bill for £25, not £225.
