Green summit sees car makers debate low carbon technology

Top-level representatives from Ford, Renault, VW and Intelligent Energy will discuss the next generation of low-carbon technology at the SMMT's International Automotive Summit on 12 June.

VW's director of future technologies, Professor Wolfgang Steiger, is due to speak on the subjects of low-CO2 engine development, plug-in hybrids and electric vehicles.
