Sixt opens Liverpool branch

Car rental firm Sixt has opened its first branch in Liverpool, offering car and van hire to businesses and individuals.
The move, which has created 11 jobs and seen £100,000 invested in property at Albert Docks, increases Sixt's presence in the UK and is its fourth location in the north-west region, with three already operating in Manchester.
The fleet at the Liverpool branch includes economy and family cars, convertibles and premium brands, as well as people carriers and van rental. The company said alongside introducing cheap car hire in the city, it offers a service called Flexi-rent, which gives small and medium-sized businesses the opportunity to lease premium rental vehicles without long lead times.
Sixt UK managing director Paul McLoughlin said: "We are delighted to introduce our own brand of car hire in Liverpool, one of the economic hubs of the UK, and a pivotal part of our continued plans to grow in the North-West. The opening underlines our commitment to provide flexible and convenient car and van rental to customers in Liverpool."
