BMW reveals first official pictures of 4-series GT

Date: 11 February 2014   |   Author: Jack Carfrae

BMW has revealed the first official images of its 4-series Gran Coupe.

Another spin-off from the 3-series, the new four-door coupe has the same footprint as the existing, two-door 4-series Coupe, but its roof is 12mm higher and 112mm longer.

This creates a 480-litre boot, which is 35 litres larger than that of the two-door variant, along with more headroom.

The lowest-emitting version and the cheapest diesel is the 418d SE at 121g/km, costing £30,995 with 61.4mpg fuel economy.

Prices start from £29,420 - exactly the same as the two-door 4-series coupe - for the 420i SE model. An automatic tailgate and folding rear seats will feature as standard and the car will go on sale in the UK in June.
