A new package of remote upgrades for software on BMW vehicles has been issued.

A total of ten updates are included, applying across various different vehicles in the BMW range.

Among the updates are improvements to the sat-nav 'charging route' function for iX and i4 cars, while all models with BMW's Operating System 8 get Amazon Alexa integration enabled, improvements to BMW ID and the My BMW App, and new skills and greater visual expression for the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant.

In addition, updates issued for iX and 2 Series Active Tourer models include new 'Expressive' and 'Relax' My Modes, in-car integration of the ConnectedDrive Store, a new exit warning function, and new front collision warning with braking intervention.

All the above updates apply to cars made before July 2022.

In addition, all models with Operating System 8 get a Glocktwo time display, and models with Operating System 7 have received lane keep assist improvements.
