Citroen E-Berlingo updates include bigger battery

Date: 12 December 2023   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Citroen has unveiled an updated version of the E-Berlingo, its van-derived electric MPV.

The upgrade includes the provision of a larger, 54kWh battery, allowing an expected range of up to 198 miles on the official WLTP combined cycle.

Exterior design changes are mostly to do with the front of the vehicle, which incorporates Citroen's new visual identity, while inside there's a new dashboard and steering wheel.

Citroen's Advanced Comfort seats are being made available with the model for the first time, while available technology will include a new 10in infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity.

Also available will be the E-Routes app, which helps to plan journeys while taking into consideration real-time traffic conditions, on-route charging and the car's charge level.

The new E-Berlingo will arrive in the UK in spring 2024. Specs and prices are yet to be announced.
