TPS adds EVs to fleet

Date: 18 December 2023   |   Author: Sean Keywood

TPS, Volkswagen Group UK's parts business, is adding 27 EVs to its delivery fleet.

This includes 25 Cupra Borns, as well as two Volkswagen ID. Buzz vans.

The new EVs will be rolled out across TPS's network of centres, and used to carry out multiple daily delivery runs and support the existing fleet with additional day-to-day operations.

Volkswagen Group UK head of group parts operations Catherine Baker said: "The addition of the 25 all-electric Cupra Born and Volkswagen ID. Buzz models is a major boost to our strategy to electrify the 710-strong TPS fleet.

"As part of our plans to accelerate our EV journey, these vehicles will help to pave the way for our business to cut its UK carbon footprint significantly, driving the transformation of our delivery service that will benefit both the planet and our customers."
