Orders open for new Toyota C-HR

Toyota has confirmed UK specs and prices for the new, second-generation version of its C-HR SUV, which is available to order now.

The model is launching with a choice of 1.8-litre and 2.0-litre conventional hybrid powertrains, with a plug-in hybrid version due to join the range next year.

The regular range comprises Icon, Design, Excel, and GR Sport equipment grades - a Premiere Edition version will also be available for a limited time.

Standard equipment with the Icon grade includes 17in alloy wheels, automatic wipers, a 7in driver display, an 8in touchscreen, wireless Apple Carplay and wired Android Auto connectivity, cloud-based sat-nav, and the third-generation Toyota Safety Sense package, which includes autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane trace assist, road sign assist, automatic high beam, and blind spot monitor linked to safe exit assist.

Further equipment with the Design grade includes 18in alloy wheels, rear privacy glas, parking sensors with automatic brake dunction, heated front seats, dual-zone air conditioning, a 12.3in driver display, a 12.3in infotainment screen, and a wireless phone charger.

Further features of the Excel grade include 19in alloy wheels, ambient interior lighting, a panoramic roof, a 360-degree camera system, lane change assist, front cross traffic assist, and adaptive high-beam headlights.

The GR Sport grade features sports-inspired design elements, including 20in alloy wheels, along with a head-up display, and a JBL audio system.

The Premiere Edition features all standard and optional features of the Excel grade, plus leather seat upholstery and a bespoke paint finish.

Prices are £31,290 for a 1.8-litre Icon, £34,685 for a 1.8-litre Design, £38,150 for a 1.8-litre Excel, £40,645 for a 2.0-litre GR Sport, and £42,720 for a 2.0-litre Premiere Edition.
