Power and range boost announced for Skoda Enyaq vRS

Date: 04 October 2023   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Skoda has announced upgrades for the flagship vRS version of its Enyaq EV.

For the 2024 model year, the total amount of power produced by the model's motors is going up from 299hp to 340hp - the highest output ever for a production Skoda car.

In addition, a recalibration of the motors and the introduction of new power management software means an increased range between charges. Provisional WLTP combined cycle figures are 340 miles for the coupe bodystyle (a 16-mile increase), and 336 miles for the SUV (up by 15 miles).

The model's DC charging capability has also been improved, up from 135kW to 175kW, meaning a 10-80% charge can now be completed in 28 minutes.

Skoda has also announced the addition of new items of standard equipment to the Enyaq vRS, including travel assist, speed assist, walk away locking, rear side airbags, rear window blinds, rear USB-C charging ports, and tow bar prep.

Also, new graphics have been introduced for the model's in-car screens.

Orders for the 2024 model year Enyaq vRS are due to open later this month.
