Skoda Enyaq range updates announced

Date: 12 October 2023   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Skoda has announced range and power updates for its Enyaq EV for the 2024 model year.

The announcement follows on from previously-announced updates for the flagship vRS variant, with Skoda now detailing upgrades for the rest of the line-up.

It starts with the entry-level 60 variant, which has received a three-mile range increase on the WLTP combined cycle, to 249 miles.

The 85 (formerly the 80) now has a combined range of 351 miles, a 12-mile increase, while the 85x (formerly the 80x) has seen its range boosted from 317 to 328 miles.

In addition, both the 85 and the 85x now have 286hp - an 82hp increase for the former, and a 21hp increase for the latter.

The 85x also gets faster rapid charging capability of up to 175kW.

Other changes to the Enyaq range include new graphics for the in-car screens.

Extra standard equipment features have also been added to various grades in the range. The Enyaq 60 gains driver alert, speed assist, and traffic sign recognition systems, while Sportline Plus and Edition specs gain walk-away locking, rear side airbags, and speed assist.

New 60 Edition and 85 Edition specs have also been introduced, featuring keyless entry and start/stop, adaptive cruise control, full LED matrix headlights, tri-zone climate control, an electric boot with virtual pedal, heated front seats, a heated multi-function steering wheel with regen paddles, and an electric driver's seat with memory function.

Orders for the updated Enyaq range will open on 31 October.
