Launch engine options with the new Kodiaq include 150hp and 204hp petrols (the former with mild hybrid technology), and 150hp and 193hp diesels, with the 204hp and 193hp engines coming with all-wheel drive. A plug-in hybrid option with an electric-only range of 62 miles will join the range subsequently.

Initial prices for the range start at £36,645 for a 150hp petrol SE five-seater, and rise as high as £46,225 for a 193hp dieset SE L seven-seater.
