Boot full
Sleek, coupe-profile body shells can compromise interior space but our Civic has large amounts of stowage room as demonstrated by attic-clearing tip trips (see picture).
Its neat recessed boot floor compartment serves two purposes: it adds extra depth for fully loaded boxes and crates, or can conceal more valuable stuff below a flip-over lid when parked up minus the hatch cover.
Cleverly, the rear seat squabs fold vertically, providing a wide and deep space behind the driver for a laterally positioned mountain bike, minus front wheels, or two dogs.
