Mazda's all-new 6 will go on sale in January priced from £15,100.
The range will start with the 1.8-litre petrol hatch in entry-level S trim. The hatch and saloon models available in January will be joined by the estate model in March.
Three petrol engines and one diesel will be available. Buyers can order the car in five equipment levels: S, TS, TS2, Sport and SL (sports luxury).
Mazda expects to sell between 13,000 and 14,000 6s in 2008.
