The start point for the best source of fleet information

Mitsubishi greens Colt

Date: 17 October 2008

The facelifted Mitsubishi Colt is to feature CO2-lowering technoglogy that goes by the name of Clear Tec and includes stop-start.

Emitting just 117g/km, the car has a 1.1-litre petrol engine and will replace the diesel option in the Colt range, which has accounted for only 13% of Colts sold since 2004.

The Clear Tec model goes on sale from £7749 at the end of October.

Mitsubishi currently has no plans to extend the Clear Tec name to other models, although it hasn't ruled out the possibility that it may do so in the future.

Mitsubishi will also release a 1.5-litre 150PS Ralliart Colt for the first time, in 3- and 5-door formats.

This replaces the previous range-topper, the Colt CZT, and has upgraded suspension over its predecessor.
