Third Greenline for Skoda as Octavia drops to 114g/km

Skoda has completed its hattrick of low-CO2 Greenline-branded models with the arrival of the Octavia Greenline, joining the 136g/km Superb and 109k/km Fabia eco models.

The 114g/km lower medium model is available as a five-door or estate with the same CO2 figure, and costs £16,155 for the hatch and £17,005 for the wagon.

Power comes from a new 105PS 1.6-litre engine with a combined economy figure of 64.2mpg, and first cars will be delivered at the end of next month.

It is in the interest of every fleet operator to consider both Skoda's Greenline range and new diesel engines as they are designed purely and simply to reduce impact on the environment which, in turn will lower fleet running costs," said Skoda product marketing manager Christopher Horrell,
