Audi's new A6 on sale January 2011

The new Audi A6, priced from £30,145 including 20% VAT, opens for ordering in January 2011, with deliveries in spring.
There will be one petrol and three diesel engines at launch with a 2.0 TDI 175hp manual as the most efficient derivative, boasting Co2 emissions of 129g/km and 57.7mpg.
The carmaker also said an A6 hybrid, using a 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine with an electric motor would be announced in "the not-too-distant future". The car will "capable of zero emission urban driving and up to 45.6mpg, yet will also have 243hp".
The 2.0 TDI 175hp, 3.0 TDI 202hp, 3.0 TDI 243hp and 3.0 TFSI 298hp engines all use Audi's start-stop system, energy recovery system to improve fuel economy up to 19% compared to the previous model, said Audi.
Options will include head-up display, Bluetooth internet connection, 1200w Bang & Olufsen sound system and MMI touch with 3D graphics.
